Be simple but don’t be fool, Be clever but don't be shrewd

For everything there exists an equal opposite. This is eternal truth based on Laws of Nature.
There are two types of people in the world – simple and clever. The precaution that needs to be taken (to acquire wisdom) is that simple person does not slip down to idiocy and clever person does not slip down to shrewdness. Both attributes – simplicity and cleverness -- are given to individuals by the Supreme Intelligence for carving their own path, by going through their own karm. So when a simple person tries to be clever, he can end up making a fool of himself; a clever person is naturally inclined to become shrewd and getting caught up in the cobweb of never ending karm cycle.
Wisdom lies in knowing to which category you belong and not regret it, because this attribute has been bestowed upon you to come out of your karma cycle. This is Nature’s law and we should respect it and take it with gratitude rather than lamenting, for instance, ‘O’I m so simple. I can’t do this’. Clever people never lament, they instead think they are will be smarter next time. Actually God loves simplicity more because He can never be shrewd.
Love your natural attribute. Only you have to be on guard that simplicity does not turn into stupidity and cleverness does not turn into shrewdness. And this can be done if you don’t take pride in your simplicity or cleverness; and you don’t take shelter in it either. Both, taking pride or taking shelter in your attribute is not good for your evolution. Wisdom lies in striking a balance and keeping a constant guard that cleverness does not become shrewdness and simplicity does not become stupidity. Shrewd man can become manipulative.

ZIPPER FLOWER..... ! something worth trying :)

These cute zipper flowers can me made into a number of accessories by adding different backers such as a pin. I made them into two hair accessories (go figure). So get some supplies and start crafting…you will have your own in a zip!

Supplies:
22” zipper
Scissors
Glue Gun
Felt
Needle
Thread
Headband or gator clip

Step 1Cut Zipper:

Cut bottom end off of the zipper and remove the sliding “zipper” piece. You will have 2 zipper ribbons, both are used to make the flower

Step 2Sew to backer

Using the felt, cut out one 1” round piece and one 1.25” round piece.

Step 3Sew Zipper to base

Take the 1” round piece of felt and sew the end to the center of the circle.

Step 4Make petals

Take the zipper ribbon and loop it up and around so it looks like fig. 4. The loop should be approximately 2” from end to end. Stitch the loop in place through the center.

Step 5Make figure 8

Loop the zipper ribbon a second time making a “figure 8” and stitch in place.

Step 6Repeat

Repeat steps 4 and 5, moving the ribbon loops to the side of the one you just created. See Figures 6A through 6C. When you get to the end of the first zipper

Step 7Take second zipper

Take the second zipper ribbon and sew it to the center of the flower.

Step 8Make petals

Loop the second zipper ribbon in a similar fashion to the first but make the loops/petals slightly smaller (approx. 1” to 1.25” long). Try to place the loops in between the larger loops in the back to fill in the gaps.

Step 9Tie off thread

After you have made 5 loop/petals with the second zipper ribbon secure the loops and tie off the thread. Cut off the thread

Step 10Roll center

Starting at the end of the un-looped zipper ribbon, start to roll the zipper ribbon unto itself toward the center of the flower making sure to stay stitch the “non tooth” end when necessary (see figs. 10A and 10B).

Step 11Stitch center

When the zipper ribbon is completely rolled up, stitch the roll at its base through the center of the flower through to the back of the felt. Come back through (carefully) and repeat this step until you feel the rolled center is secure. When it is secure tie off the thread on the back end

Step 12Finish

Your flower is now complete. The following steps show you how I attached the flower to a gator clip and a headband
Gator clip
Take the 1.25” circle from step one and put 2 slits in the center of the felt so you can slide the gator clip through it. Then simply glue the two felt pieces together with hot glue.

Headband
Pick a spot on the headband where you would like the flower and glue the felt to the top side of the headband. Taking the 1.23” circle of felt from step 1, glue the circle to the other piece of felt sandwiching the headband in between.

Plastic Bag Bracelet

When you need a little color for a celebration or occasion, a quick bracelet will do the

trick. You can create bracelets for yourself or your whole group in a matter of min

utes by recycling colored plastic bags. It's a green way to

get into the spirit of things.

Things you will need :

  1. Up to 3 colors of shopping bags that correspond with your team colors
  2. Scissors

Once you gathered this all start with your work.

Lay your plastic bags flat. Cut across the bottom of the bag to remove the bottom seam.

Cut 1" thick strips across the width of the bag, as shown. You will need three strips of plastic for each bracelet. Here, we used red from one side of a Target bag, a strip of white from the back of the same bag, and a strip of

blue from another bag.

Once you have your three strips, it’s the time to braid them

Knot and Braid the Strips

Braid the strips until your bracelet is long enough to go around your wrist with 1" to spare for tying the ends together. If you are making a batch of bracelets for a group, 8-9" is a good length for most wrists.

Tie the strips together at one end.

Once you've got a braided length, now we can finsh up.

Tie and Trim the Edges

Tie the ends of your bracelet together, then trim off the extra plastic.

At this point, you can add charms to your bracelet, or get to work on using the rest of your plastic bags to create free bracelets for your friends that will match your own. Let them know how you made them...this project is a great way to add color while recycle plastic bags.

The Outfit Essentials

Here are the items every travel-savvy girl needs in her wardrobe:

Jeggings

These are probably the best invention in the history of travel attire. They have the chic look of our stylish skinny jeans with all the stretch and comfort of our favorite leggings. Jeggings are also perfect for summer travel, because it’s always best to avoid shorts on planes and buses. You can never be sure how clean the seats are or what skin irritants may be present.

The Boyfriend Tee

Cute and chic, these oversized tees are the perfect tops for travel. They’re long enough to camouflage the elastic band of our jeggings, loose enough to fill our comfy requirement, and stylish enough to keep us looking trendy from Point A to Point B. Stick with black, white, grey, tan, navy, or beige, which can be paired with practically anything.

Oversized Cardigan

This is a godsend if you are traveling by airplane or by bus where the air conditioning tends to be cranked up to the highest setting. Just toss a cardigan in your bag if it’s warm outside, then take it out when you need it. Plus, with all the awesome styles out there, you can really show off your own unique style.

A Colorful Scarf

Stand out in the crowd with a pop of color by adding a cute scarf to your look. It’s a simple way to brighten up your ensemble and adds a cool, glamorous feel. (Think cherry-red convertible, large sunglasses and a silk scarf tied around your head.)

An added bonus? If you go with large scarf, it can double as a small blanket.

Flats or Boots

Between long lines, security checks and the occasional sprint to the gate, comfy shoes are a must. We recommend wearing a pair of boots if you’re flying: they’re easy to slip on and off at security and won’t take up valuable space in your luggage.

If you’d rather not wear boots, stuff your heels in your luggage and invest in a pair of cute flats. They’re ideal for wearing for hours and slip off easily at security checkpoints. One word of warning, however: If you’re going to wear flats to the airport, bring a pair of thin, low-cut socks to wear underneath. Trust us, the last place you want your bare feet is on a dirty airport floor.

Poor Butterflies & Rich Moths

I was home sitting ideal i thought of painting .. i couldn't think of anything. I was standing near my window when i saw few people working carrying all loads over them from one end to other. I realized there is so much of poverty line in our country.
I was trying to compare the gap between rich and poor . But, then I realized it was a difficult question to answer. Because on one side there are many rich people and on the other hand there are poor people. I concluded that it was something waste I was thinking about.
RICH BECOME RICHER AND POOR BECOME POORER.
and later I came with my art :)

Chocolates and Women

Caffeine is one of most common addiction for most of the people. But, except that i found out that Chocolates are also one of the most common addiction for women isn't it?

Why is it, that nearly all of us love chocolate, especially women. Did you know that 99 of women love chocolate, as it makes them feel loved and special.

Different women, different reasons for having chocolate, for some it’s a mood elevator, for some a stress buster, but for a very few of us it’s just another snack.Chocolate doesn't just tingle the tongue; it’s a soup of many compounds that affect the brain. With chocolates a women can laugh alone :)
Chocolates have both, positive as well as negative effects on our mood. For some women (men too), chocolate is the best companion when they are sad or alone. They feel that when sad or depressed or lonely, chocolate tends to make them feel good and elevated.

For me i consider chocolates to be my best friend. Because they always give me a company when i need. But this happiness is temporary since as soon as the chocolate bar gets over they get back to zero.
I still remember when i was small and always my refrigerator use to be full with chocolates. My basic food use to be a big bar of MILKY BAR during those day. No wonder my teeth where all black, when i was a kid :)
Moreover, my dad always use to get me lots of chocolates daily when he use to return from his work. I use to keep waiting for him till he use to come at night.

Do you know dark chocolates are good for health ?
Chocolate is supposedly good for the heart. (There you have a reason to have more and more chocolate). :D
This is a truly amazing fact about chocolate: It prevents cancer, since it has an anti oxidant upshot to it.

I know most of us hate one of the most disadvantage of this.. so do i hate
It can make you FAT.

But the best part " Women are more addicted to chocolates then men. " so chocolates can really help you if you are going through a heartbreak :)
good luck :)

The Monsoon begins . . . .

It is pouring heavily, the first rain. The smell from parched earth and I feel like eating it. Then I smile, to myself and say silently “that’s like a kid” and smile again, more at the thought of my childhood than the idea of eating earth. I wait under the shed and look in to the darkness around and extend my hand to feel the invisible rain through my skin. I feel the droplets hitting me at my palm and arm. They are cold and giving a pleasing sensation to my skin. I bring my hand back close to my eyes and in the intermittent lightening flashes see the tiny sparkles on my palm and arm. Cold Winds touching my face and moving my hair. It’s the sensation of drops on my skin which has caused them to rise. Another lightening flash and I look at these hairs again.
I remember when I was a child they used to be golden in colour, now they have turned black.
Just like my heart.
From golden to black, from gold to coal, and I hardly noticed it. That’s like most of us.

Here's how one should select SIGNATURE FRAGRANCE. . .

  • Always keep in mind that there are three fragrance notes, which change with time , and so one should choose the lighter fragrances for the day and deep and intense one foe the evening. There will always be a dominating note that reveals the family of scent, which lead to the choice you have made, depending on your sense of smell and the comfort and confidence a particular fragrance gives you.
  • However, while choosing a fragrance, do consider the fact that every fragrance changes with an individuals body chemistry. Some perfume scents get thrown off when mingled up with the natural body scent. In order to avoid this, find a perfume that complements the acidity level of your body and skin. If is sour or pungent while you wear it , the scent may not be complementing your body. Make sure you get the right perfume for you.
  • Every perfume has a texture. Some fragrance are like silk or velvet , rich and royal; other are practical and casual like gabardine. On vacation , one wants to be free from everyday routine of life, so the perfume should feel like chiffon or linen , free and flowing or like the fabric of well-worn.
" Quite often , we belief is that strong fragrances should be worn when the temperature are high , but in fact , it is exactly the contrary. The hotter the climate , he more lighter should be the fragrance. "
