Supplies:
22” zipper
Scissors
Glue Gun
Felt
Needle
Thread
Headband or gator clip
Step 1Cut Zipper:
Step 2Sew to backer
Step 3Sew Zipper to base
Take the 1” round piece of felt and sew the end to the center of the circle.Step 4Make petals
Take the zipper ribbon and loop it up and around so it looks like fig. 4. The loop should be approximately 2” from end to end. Stitch the loop in place through the center.Step 5Make figure 8
Loop the zipper ribbon a second time making a “figure 8” and stitch in place.Step 6Repeat
Repeat steps 4 and 5, moving the ribbon loops to the side of the one you just created. See Figures 6A through 6C. When you get to the end of the first zipperStep 7Take second zipper
Take the second zipper ribbon and sew it to the center of the flower.Step 8Make petals
Loop the second zipper ribbon in a similar fashion to the first but make the loops/petals slightly smaller (approx. 1” to 1.25” long). Try to place the loops in between the larger loops in the back to fill in the gaps.Step 9Tie off thread
After you have made 5 loop/petals with the second zipper ribbon secure the loops and tie off the thread. Cut off the threadStep 10Roll center
Starting at the end of the un-looped zipper ribbon, start to roll the zipper ribbon unto itself toward the center of the flower making sure to stay stitch the “non tooth” end when necessary (see figs. 10A and 10B).Step 11Stitch center
When the zipper ribbon is completely rolled up, stitch the roll at its base through the center of the flower through to the back of the felt. Come back through (carefully) and repeat this step until you feel the rolled center is secure. When it is secure tie off the thread on the back endStep 12Finish
Your flower is now complete. The following steps show you how I attached the flower to a gator clip and a headbandTake the 1.25” circle from step one and put 2 slits in the center of the felt so you can slide the gator clip through it. Then simply glue the two felt pieces together with hot glue.
Headband
Pick a spot on the headband where you would like the flower and glue the felt to the top side of the headband. Taking the 1.23” circle of felt from step 1, glue the circle to the other piece of felt sandwiching the headband in between.

Plastic Bag Bracelet
When you need a little color for a celebration or occasion, a quick bracelet will do the
trick. You can create bracelets for yourself or your whole group in a matter of min
utes by recycling colored plastic bags. It's a green way to
get into the spirit of things.
Things you will need :
- Up to 3 colors of shopping bags that correspond with your team colors
- Scissors
Once you gathered this all start with your work.
Lay your plastic bags flat. Cut across the bottom of the bag to remove the bottom seam.
Cut 1" thick strips across the width of the bag, as shown. You will need three strips of plastic for each bracelet. Here, we used red from one side of a Target bag, a strip of white from the back of the same bag, and a strip of
blue from another bag.
Once you have your three strips, it’s the time to braid them
Knot and Braid the Strips
Braid the strips until your bracelet is long enough to go around your wrist with 1" to spare for tying the ends together. If you are making a batch of bracelets for a group, 8-9" is a good length for most wrists.
Once you've got a braided length, now we can finsh up.
Tie and Trim the Edges
Tie the ends of your bracelet together, then trim off the extra plastic.
At this point, you can add charms to your bracelet, or get to work on using the rest of your plastic bags to create free bracelets for your friends that will match your own. Let them know how you made them...this project is a great way to add color while recycle plastic bags.
The Outfit Essentials
Here are the items every travel-savvy girl needs in her wardrobe:
Jeggings
These are probably the best invention in the history of travel attire. They have the chic look of our stylish skinny jeans with all the stretch and comfort of our favorite leggings. Jeggings are also perfect for summer travel, because it’s always best to avoid shorts on planes and buses. You can never be sure how clean the seats are or what skin irritants may be present.
The Boyfriend Tee
Cute and chic, these oversized tees are the perfect tops for travel. They’re long enough to camouflage the elastic band of our jeggings, loose enough to fill our comfy requirement, and stylish enough to keep us looking trendy from Point A to Point B. Stick with black, white, grey, tan, navy, or beige, which can be paired with practically anything.
Oversized Cardigan
This is a godsend if you are traveling by airplane or by bus where the air conditioning tends to be cranked up to the highest setting. Just toss a cardigan in your bag if it’s warm outside, then take it out when you need it. Plus, with all the awesome styles out there, you can really show off your own unique style.
A Colorful Scarf
Stand out in the crowd with a pop of color by adding a cute scarf to your look. It’s a simple way to brighten up your ensemble and adds a cool, glamorous feel. (Think cherry-red convertible, large sunglasses and a silk scarf tied around your head.)
An added bonus? If you go with large scarf, it can double as a small blanket.
Flats or Boots
Between long lines, security checks and the occasional sprint to the gate, comfy shoes are a must. We recommend wearing a pair of boots if you’re flying: they’re easy to slip on and off at security and won’t take up valuable space in your luggage.
If you’d rather not wear boots, stuff your heels in your luggage and invest in a pair of cute flats. They’re ideal for wearing for hours and slip off easily at security checkpoints. One word of warning, however: If you’re going to wear flats to the airport, bring a pair of thin, low-cut socks to wear underneath. Trust us, the last place you want your bare feet is on a dirty airport floor.
Poor Butterflies & Rich Moths
I was home sitting ideal i thought of painting .. i couldn't think of anything. I was standing near my window when i saw few people working carrying all loads over them from one end to other. I realized there is so much of poverty line in our country.

The Monsoon begins . . . .
Here's how one should select SIGNATURE FRAGRANCE. . .
- Always keep in mind that there are three fragrance notes, which change with time , and so one should choose the lighter fragrances for the day and deep and intense one foe the evening. There will always be a dominating note that reveals the family of scent, which lead to the choice you have made, depending on your sense of smell and the comfort and confidence a particular fragrance gives you.
- However, while choosing a fragrance, do consider the fact that every fragrance changes with an individuals body chemistry. Some perfume scents get thrown off when mingled up with the natural body scent. In order to avoid this, find a perfume that complements the acidity level of your body and skin. If is sour or pungent while you wear it , the scent may not be complementing your body. Make sure you get the right perfume for you.
- Every perfume has a texture. Some fragrance are like silk or velvet , rich and royal; other are practical and casual like gabardine. On vacation , one wants to be free from everyday routine of life, so the perfume should feel like chiffon or linen , free and flowing or like the fabric of well-worn.
" Quite often , we belief is that strong fragrances should be worn when the temperature are high , but in fact , it is exactly the contrary. The hotter the climate , he more lighter should be the fragrance. "
